I joined Nesbits in 1973 and have clocked up an impressive 52 years with the firm. My enthusiasm and passion for all things property hasn’t diminished over the years. I can still recall my first house sale – a 3 Bedroom property
in Milton that sold for £9,750. At that time it was possible to buy a property on Eastern Parade for £35,000!
I’ve been with Nesbits for over 20 years. During this time, I’ve seen the property market change and evolve. I’m passionate about my work and enjoy helping people find their ideal home.
I joined Nesbits after completing a YTS scheme back in the 80s. After enjoying a long maternity break I rejoined the firm in 2009. It’s been very interesting to see how the job has changed during the intervening years, going from the manual world to digital.
A chance College exam paper led me on the path to Estate Agency! It sparked the interest which led to my eventual career. I still get a buzz from my job despite the various changes in the industry and over 30 years working at Nesbits.
